Over 300 children from across the Bradford District joined us on Friday 20th June to showcase the work they have completed as part of our Take Heart Take Part project. The children took part in Bullman’s parade showcasing what they had learnt in the sessions. Participating schools include Marshfield Primary, Holybrook Primary, Parklands Primary, Al Mumin, Byron Primary, St Matthews Catholic Primary, Newby Primary, Ghyll Royd, Margaret McMillian Primary, St Stephens Primary, Lidget Green Primary, Barkerend Primary, High Crags Primary, Thornbury Primary, Grove House Primary, Horton Park Primary, Lowerfields Primary, Crossley Hall Primary and Hill Top CofE Primary. The children also took part in a Bullman and Bullboy sprint challenge on the pitch at half time.

The project which is run in partnership with Heart research aims to educate young people on how to look after their hearts. They have discussed healthy eating options, the role of the heart and took part in mini exercise activities.
